Just Being
Photographers and other creatives seek to produce original, undiluted work. Even the most talented hit the occasional brick wall. Some would suggest rest, relaxation, or spirituality (yoga, meditation, music, exercise).
While finding value in these suggestions, I really love a good photo walk, alone or with others. Interacting with other photographers creates synergy and sparks vitality. The journey may be through city streets, a vineyard, a botanical garden, or a simple country road. But mostly, the walk is about seeing shape, color and texture composition. The result is renewal of the senses.
Photo: The Bob Bullock Museum is a remarkable building. With a long exposure time, this vision needed no supplemental light. UT Campus provided highlights, to camera right, created a portrait lighting effect.
